Report Content

How to report a listing, message, image or account. Reports about minors and non-consensual content are handled as an absolute priority.

Last updated: 16 August 2026

Urgent reports. If a report concerns a person under 18, non-consensual intimate images, or an immediate risk to someone's safety, write to [email protected] with URGENT in the subject line. Do not attach or forward the material itself — send the link only.

1. How to report

You do not need an account to submit a report.

From the site

Every listing, message and profile has a report control. Signed-in users can use it to send a report directly to our moderation team.

By email

Write to [email protected]. To let us act quickly, include:

  • The full URL of the content you are reporting
  • The username of the account, if known
  • What is wrong with the content, in your own words
  • Which rule you believe it breaks, if you know
  • A way to contact you, if you would like a reply

Do not send the material itself. A link is enough and is safer for everyone.

2. How we handle reports

Content on GetHuffi is published immediately and is not reviewed before it appears. We review it after publication, when a report reaches us or when we become aware of a problem ourselves.

  • We acknowledge receipt of email reports
  • Reports about minors or non-consensual content are reviewed first, ahead of everything else
  • Content may be hidden while a report is being assessed
  • We inform the reporter of the outcome where they gave us a way to reply
  • We inform the affected user of any action taken and the reason for it, unless notification is prohibited by law or would prejudice an investigation

Possible outcomes are: no action, removal of the content, restriction of account features, suspension, permanent termination, and referral to the competent authorities where required by law.

3. Non-consensual intimate images

If you appear in content published on GetHuffi without your consent, write to [email protected]. Include the URL and tell us that you are the person shown.

We do not require you to prove your identity before we act. Where a report is credible, we remove the content first and follow up afterwards.

If you own the rights to content published on GetHuffi without your permission, send a notice to [email protected] containing:

  1. Identification of the work you claim has been infringed
  2. The full URL of the material on GetHuffi that you want removed
  3. Your name, address, telephone number and email address
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that under penalty of perjury you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights holder
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice and notify the user who posted it.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address, containing the URL of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you reside.

Knowingly submitting a false notice or counter-notice may make you liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

5. Repeat and abusive reports

Accounts that repeatedly submit reports in bad faith, or use the report function to harass another user, may have the function restricted.

Accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others are terminated.
